Moonlike Icy Lakes

Aerial, Photography

Project “Moonlike Icy Lakes” talks about the temporality and changeability. All the photographs were taken above the spectacular Lithuanian lakes, surrounded by pine trees.

Several months ago we could see only water from that point, but now winter and its frost created new forms and surfaces, which are always disappearing shortly after. Every material in landscape transforms its  shape, colour or background without stopping. Changing like a human. Probably, this is a beauty in a proper sense.
